About Louise
After graduating with a 1st Degree in Interactive Multimedia from Staffordshire University in June 2005, Louise lived in Newbury and worked as a web developer for a local company. In October 2006, she took on the role of Head of Web Development for the same web team.
In May 2005, Louise won first prize in the Mobile category at Gradex– for her project ‘Txt2Tug’. Gradex is an exhibition run by the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Technology at Staffordshire University. The project was an application designed to engage music festival audiences in a ‘virtual’ Tug of War using their mobile phones to give their chosen team strength.
In March 2006, the dissertation that accompanied the Txt2Tug application was nominated in the thesis Category for a Top Talent award at The Europrix Multimedia Awards - Europe’s contest for young professionals and students who work on innovative projects.
Coming from a background in Multimedia, Louise enjoys the challenge of creating websites, which push the boundaries of dynamic content and functionality on the web.
